In Friday's release of the programme "Graphiti" on Polsat News, talker of the Sejm Simon Holovnia expressed concerns about the stableness of the current ruling coalition.
He stressed that failure to meet key electoral promises, specified as a minimum wage increase or a individual assistance for people with disabilities, could lead to a serious political crisis.
“If we do not deliver, we will have a serious problem.”
Hołownia pointed out that Finance Minister Andrzej Domanski is in a hard situation, but warned against exceeding even the smallest budget parameter. According to the marshal, in specified a situation president Karol Nawrocki could consider the budget poorly constructed and decide to dissolve Parliament.
“We are aware of the traps that are set for us.”
He besides pointed out the request to rebuild government and coalition communication, informing that the deficiency of effective action could be utilized by the opposition.
“If we do not decision forward rapidly and rebuild communication, then the PiS with Nawrock will do the fall of the mediate Ages.”
The Hołównia stressed that the present minute is the last chance to make the essential changes and implement the electoral promises. He pointed out that if the government fails to implement most of the announced actions over the next month, it could consequence in failure of social trust and political destabilisation.
At the same time, possible early parliamentary elections are gaining importance. Prime Minister Donald Tusk firmly rejected the anticipation of earlier elections, declaring that they would be held according to the calendar in 2.5 years. He stressed that the government has quite a few work to do and is convinced that it has a mandate of trust for the following years.
However, any coalition politicians, like Senator KO Krzysztof Kwiatkowski, propose the anticipation of a request for a renewed vote of assurance for the government to guarantee that the majority is held in the Sejm.
Although the script of earlier elections remains in the sphere of speculation, interior tensions, budgetary difficulties and possible actions of president Nawrocki may influence political developments in Poland.
