The plaque reads: “Memoirs of German soldiers killed during the First and Second planet War, fighters of Selbstschutz and Freikorps, and murdered and oppressed Germans from the East.” Among the founders was Stephan Protschka, an MP of utmost right-wing alternate to Germany (AfD) from Bavaria. In November 2017, it turned out that Protschka, along with another AfD MPs, was a associate of the group "Patrioci" on Facebook. Among others, the Holocaust victims were slandered and Adolf Hitler and Wehrmacht were glorified.
Just under the name Protschki the inscription Junge Alternative, or Young Alternative, was engraved on the board, which is known as a extremist nationalist youth. Members of Selbstschutz (Silesian Germans), who fought for the stay of their tiny homeland within the German borders, are called the “enemies of Silesia”, and green men (so-called “stand-ups”) from Częstochowa, Krakow, Warsaw and Lviv the name “the oppressed Silesian people”. Let us remember that this was not a fight against the “German occupier” due to the fact that Silesia was never under Prussian occupation, but was an integral part of Germany."
