Some time ago I wrote in “Polish Thoughts” about what modern streaming platforms do to my beloved literary genre or fantasy.
Special emphasis was placed on the Polish “Wiedźmina”, the universe, which was not only screened but besides popular video games created by Poles.
Let me return to the subject again, at the same time promising that for a long time I will quit fantasy. It's gonna be a small different this time. Thanks to the engagement of professional actors, screenwriters, lighting professionals, manufacturers, operators, sound engineers, professionals in phase design, costumes, makeup and fencing, an absolutely unique spectacle was created in the planet created by Andrzej Sapkowski. All those working on the movie and depositors combined 1 – they are fans of WiedomeneOh, my God! It's seen in all frame and all scene, from beginning to closing credits. I will only mention what is most important, starting with what the movie is not – it is not a communicative about the witch Gerald of Rivia and his ward Ciri, whose adventures the full planet knows thanks to Sapkowski's books, the thunder CD task and the unfortunate Netflix screens. This is simply a fresh communicative about Gerald's friend, the darkest witch known to us from the saga, or Lambert. A 4th of a century after the rivian pogrom (last events from the saga) is attacked by Kaer Morhen, the old settlers of the witches of Wolf's trait. The attack is led by the mighty warrior Agaius. A fewer years later from Aretuza, a recently rebuilt witch school, escapes Ornell, suspected of uncovering the legendary Book of Alzur. Triss Merigold is in pursuit of the renegade. Mariusz Drężak, Polish middle-generation actor, theatre, movie and serial artist as Witch Lambert is simply insane! It is impossible to hide that he stole the full film, but it was besides a completely conscious procedure – everything in the movie was created so that the actor could be a full, "vaminian prime character", which is simply a large contrast to the netflix "flip" in which Gerald's character virtually disappears from the episode, perfectly played by Cavil. Lambert from the beginning to the end of the movie Nurzyński is simply a propulsor of the storyline and character that virtually hypnotizes. His facial expressions, voice, gaze, movements, costume and makeup are absolutely consistent and phenomenal. I bought it right away, but not only me; comments from net users leave no doubt, and they can be collectively given the slogan:

That's right, and it's not just Lambert, played by Marius Drężak. Generally, the full movie is truly tasty, even though (let's not fool ourselves) you can see at times budgetary shortcomings. Clearly, this was filmed despite financial expenditures, not thanks to them. The supporting function of Magdalena Różańska playing Triss Merigold deserves attention – it is absolutely phenomenal. Let us remember that we are inactive talking about “fan production”. I'm comparing it now to the first screen. WitchWhich unfortunately saw the light at the same time as Peter Jackson's mega-production Lord of the Rings. I realize that comparing films from those years (home and Hollywood) is very unfair, but if you put half a century of poesy into this place later, then aside from spectacular peculiar effects, our fan movie does not bring shame. What happened, however, that it could be for comparatively small money?
The thought and coordination of the full – Jakub Nurzyński – I absolutely "appear with bass" for the director. The concept of the whole, its consistency and its adherence to it is simply a championship. Installation — Szymon RaczkiewiczWho did a large occupation here. Screenplay – Dariusz Gabrilewicz, Brunon Hawryluk, Jakub Nurzyński – from the beginning to the end feel the atmosphere of the Witch and it is known that the creators are close to the world. Now an highly crucial issue – choreography of fights. Watching Netflix's productions, I'm just waiting for "kitts" and another stupid solutions. I truly tried to take this seriously, but you can't... The movie Half a Century of poesy later comes to us in sukurs and employs a martial arts choreographer! Alan Padzinski has done quite a few excellent work here. All the fights, starting with the first scenes in Kaer Morhen, look perfect. So it is worth hiring a specialist! Who knew?
We're doing WitchOh, my God!
In summary, half a century of poesy later is absolutely phenomenal fan production! Really, despite the tiny budget, after reading the beginning, looking at production critically, I said: and this is Witch! You truly request so small – knowing the source, fascination with the universe and being a fan! The Polish communicative of the Witch besides depicts Lambert, an highly dark figure. Mariusz Drężak virtually incarnated himself in Lambert and, frankly, did so well that I could not imagine another image of the woodwork liable for killing monsters!
