On the night of 23 to 24 June 2025, the planet watched another act of mediate east drama: an Iranian rocket attack on the U.S. Air Force Base Al Udeid in Qatar and, according to any reports, on Ain al-Assad base in Iraq. The operation, baptized by Tehran “Prediction of Victory”, was a consequence to American raids on Iran's atomic facilities in Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan. However, what at first glance looked like a dangerous escalation was more like a boxing fight on a geopolitical ringing – spectacular, with real punches, but carefully directed.According to a retired U.S. Army officer, a atomic Disarmament Specialist (EOD) with a Q mandate, we have witnessed a “too perfect” operation, a masterpiece of the 5th generation war (5GW), where the real conflict was fought not on the battlefield but in the media and minds of the public.
According to the Jerusalem Post, which I wrote on Monday, the United States warned Iran of planned raids on its atomic infrastructure, giving Tehran time to reduce losses. In response, Iran carried out a rocket attack which, although impressive, was symbolic. The Qatari Ministry of Defence confirmed that all rockets (6–10, according to various sources) were intercepted by anti-aircraft defence systems, and Al Udeid base was previously evacuated, which excluded the victims. As reported by the fresh York Times and Axios, Iran notified Qatar and the US of its intentions, minimising the hazard of escalation. This is not a coincidence – it's a choreography in which each side knew its steps.
The retired officer, mentioned earlier, is amazed at the precision of this operation. “War does not work this way, it was besides perfect” – he says, pointing out that it is not only about the kinetic aspect (air strikes, rockets), but about information war, managing perception and juggling countless layers of theatre. In his opinion, the last 2 weeks of events, from the US raids to Iran's response, indicate an agreement behind closed doors. The U.S., Iran, Israel, as well as Russia, China, Saudi Arabia and another powers had to be in a “director” at all times, jointly implementing a controlled “war” scenario.
In the 5th generation war, the battlefield moves to tv and smartphone screens. The net has become the main theatre of operations, where narratives form reality more effectively than bombs. Iran, through Mehr, claimed that the number of rockets fired was equal to the number of bombs dropped by the US, building an image of "proportional retaliation". On the another hand, president Donald Trump on the fact Social platform called Iran's attack "weak and expected", announcing a ceasefire between Iran and Israel that entered into force on June 24, 2025. The fall in WTI and Brent oil prices by nearly 6% after the attack confirms that the markets considered the conflict more a spectacle than a real threat.
The officer emphasizes that the most hard component of the operation was the information-psychological aspect. "The raids were the easiest. The real war was fought in the media and social media" – he says. The number of planning, including variables – from public reaction to ally movements – required flawless precision. In his opinion, the planet was deceived by observing a theatre in which the hazard of planet War III or land war never existed. “Trump won the war before it started” – claims that the full operation was safe and that the agreement between the parties was concluded in advance. This war won, of course, is simply a media war.
Although the conflict was directed, the effects were as real as possible – like blood pouring on a boxing ring. American raids "destroyed" Iran's atomic program facilities, as Trump presented as a strategical victory. Iran, responding to a symbolic attack, "saved face" from national audiences and allies specified as Russia and China, who supported Tehran diplomatically but did not engage militarily. A high-ranking Iranian official, as quoted by Reuters, declared his readiness to engage in diplomatic talks after the “punishment of the aggressor”, suggesting that Tehran had achieved its propaganda goal.
However, the Iranian-Israeli war continues in the background. Israel, with an advantage in the air, continues to raid targets in Iran while Tehran responds to rocket attacks. Although there are signs of possible deescalation, Iran declares continuing the atomic program, making the ceasefire fragile. This conflict, little controlled than the US-Iran clash, recalls that any players in a geopolitical ringing may be unpredictable like Rambo.
According to the officer, the war effort entered a fresh dimension beyond public perception. The 5th generation war is not only bombs and rockets, but above all narratives that form reality. Trump, maintaining control of the situation, could usage this theatre to strengthen his position, presenting America as a winner without engaging in an costly war. Iran, in turn, has gained propaganda success, avoiding direct confrontation with the US power.
The war in Ukraine, although temporarily overshadowed by events in the mediate East, remains in the background, and Kiev will surely search ways to return to the front pages of newspapers. Meanwhile, in the mediate East the curtain remains up. Will the next acts be equally accurately directed, or will 1 of the actors break the script? 1 thing is certain: in the geopolitical ring, all blow – even symbolic – leaves a mark, and the audience, although not acquainted with the sphere, feels its strength. I'll repeat Monday's remark: "Well, all we have left to do is observe and a cool distance to reports of a decisive triumph by 1 of the 3 countries so far."

It takes quite a few sound to overshadow Israel's failure.
Israel has not achieved any of its goals, i.e. he did not halt Iran's atomic program, he did not lead to a coup – to remove the Ayatollahs from power, he did not halt the rocket program...
Iran has retained all the enriched uranium, has know-how in atomic weapon design.
In Ukraine, failure, with Iran, Europe backs up in development, America clowns, Israel looking for dumber than himself – without success. It seems to me that the single-pole planet is actually surviving its life.
