DUBAI- Emirates (EK), the flag carrier of the United Arab Emirates, will introduce its acclaimed Premium Economy class on flights between Dubai (DXB) and Kolkata (CCU) starting 18 July 2025. This move expands Emirates’ Premium Economy footprint in India, following successful rollouts in Mumbai (BOM), Bengaluru (BLR), and Ahmedabad (AMD).
The enhanced service will be available on Emirates flight EK573, operating four times weekly from Kolkata (CCU) to Dubai (DXB), offering passengers a more comfortable and refined alternative to standard Economy.

Passengers flying on the Dubai–Kolkata route can now opt for the Premium Economy experience on Emirates’ Boeing 777 aircraft.
- Flight EK573 will depart Kolkata at 20:45 IST every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, arriving in Dubai at 00:05 GST.
- Inbound flight EK572 departs Dubai at 13:05 GST and arrives in Kolkata at 19:15 IST.
Note- All flight times are local.
Emirates (EK) currently operates 11 weekly flights between Dubai and Kolkata, including daily service on EK570/571 and the four weekly Premium Economy-equipped EK572/573 rotations.

The Premium Economy cabin offers 24 seats designed for superior comfort and space. Passengers benefit from wider cream leather seats, enhanced legroom, adjustable headrests, deeper recline, and cushioned leg rests, making it ideal for long-haul travelers seeking an affordable upgrade.
