Sales of electrical cars in the EU are falling or increasing only, suggesting a worrying marketplace situation. Even in China, this problem is already seen. Is it just a temporary scuffle or a trailer of problem in the electrical revolution? The Wyborcza paper reports that 31.4,000 fresh electrical passenger cars (BEV) were recorded in March in Germany, which represents 29 percent little than in the erstwhile year.
During the first 4th of 2024, the number of specified vehicles on German roads decreased by 14 percent, says the journal. According to GW, it is the consequence of German drivers to the government's failure to grant subsidies to electrical cars. Grants began to be limited a year ago, and since January this year the German government has completely stopped them due to budget difficulties.
In March 2024 there was besides a decrease in the sales of electrical cars in another EU countries compared to the erstwhile year, with the first registrations of specified vehicles being more than 11% lower than the erstwhile year. Despite the declines, sales of electrical cars in the EU increased by 4% compared to the erstwhile year, suggesting a continuation, albeit slower pace of marketplace development.
"In 2023, sales of fresh purely electrical passenger cars were 37% higher in the EU than in the erstwhile year," writes "GW". It added that "this year there is no chance of a repeat of specified a leap" which forces automotive companies to contain plans to accelerate the electrification of their cars.
"In the United States, sales of fresh purely electrical cars increased by 47% in 2023, counting year to year. But in the first 3 months of 2024 the sales of specified vehicles in the United States were only 3.3% higher than in the erstwhile year," writes “GW”. "Two years ago, Americans bought clean electrical cars on the trunk. This year specified vehicles are waiting for a buyer on average 136 days, almost twice as long as the average fresh car with a purely interior combustion engine, according to the estimates of Cox Automotive, an analytical company, says Gazeta Wyborcza.
According to Gazeta Wyborcza, the global Energy Agency (IAE) disagrees with pessimistic forecasts. In her report, presented at the end of April, the MAE noted that 14 million fresh electrical cars were sold worldwide last year, an increase of 3.5 million units compared to the erstwhile year. Furthermore, according to the IEA, as many as 17 million fresh electrical vehicles may appear on global roads this year.
No substance how much EU governments or Gazeta Wyborcza effort to encourage, the fact remains unchanged – having electrical cars can be attractive in California or Florida, where the weather is comparatively warm throughout the year. However, under European winter temperatures, the scope of specified vehicles is decreasing dramatically, and charging in the cold frequently becomes impossible. Consumers will not miss this fact.
