DUBAI- Paul Griffiths, the chief of Dubai airports (DXB), anticipates a future economy in the popularity of a maller, more fuel-efficient aircraft, leading to increased flight freedom and enhanced connectivity.

In preparation for this paradigm shift, it is imperative to construct an airport equipped with numeric gates to accommodate a Fleet of maller-capacity aircraft. We have conducted extended mathematic analyses to find the requisite number of gates and runs.”
Griffiths further elucidated that the airport’s growth trajectory alliances with projected results. “If we task our growth trajectory, 17 years ago, erstwhile I first joined Dubai Airport, we reserved 30 million passengers,” he noted.
Today, that figure stands at 90 million passengers. Looking ahead 15 or 20 years, in anticipate reporting the capacity of 260 million passengers, for which the fresh airport is designed.”

“Upon surfing Heathrow, I keep a box of those cups and send it to the CEO of Heathrow Airport. It was a profoundly gratifying moment.”
He understands the cohesive squad culture prevalent in Dubai, emphasizing that his most crucial legacy is his team. “There’s a unified ‘one-team’ mindset among my colleges here,” he explained.
“I take immense pride in the fact that about 70 percent of my management squad concerns talented Emirates who were streamed and trained locally. The remarkable growth aside, my successful acquisition is fostering local talent to build and sustain an effective airport. erstwhile I initially joined, we had around 500 employees; today, we boat a workforce of 1,700.”
