Deputy Prime Minister, head of MON Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz estimated that the resignation of the Head of the Ministry of abroad Affairs of Ukraine Dmytra Kułeby is “a surprise”. He besides expressed hope that the fresh head of Ukrainian diplomacy would leave the rhetoric presented by his predecessor on Polish-Ukrainian history.

On Wednesday, the president of the ultimate Council of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanczuk reported that a letter was sent to the Council with resignation of the head of the MFA of Dmytra Kułeby. The resignation of Kuleba, who began his career in the Ministry of abroad Affairs in 2003, is to be considered in 1 of the upcoming plenary sessions.

When asked about this decision during the economical Forum in Karpacz, Deputy Prime Minister, the head of the MON Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz admitted that, in his opinion, this is surely a "surprising". He stressed that Kuleba was the head of the Ukrainian MFA throughout the war.

When asked if he had any thought of the reasons for the resignation, the minister replied that 1 had to ask the individual concerned. – Surely this time, which has passed since the beginning of the war, has caused... human fatigue to be powerfully felt. As I watched the Ukrainian delegation at the NATO Summit (...), this is simply a large effort – he said. As he added, the function played by Kuleba was "very difficult".

The head of the Ministry of abroad Affairs of Ukraine was late a guest of the Campus Poland of the Future organized in Olsztyn, where he echoed his message on the Polish-Ukrainian history, in which he suggested that present it should not be "draw" and made a scandalous alignment of the Volyn genocide with the action carried out by the puppet government of the Polish People's Republic of Poland "Wisła".

On Wednesday Kosiniak-Kamysz stressed that Ukraine would not enter the European Union unless "what is historical fact is realised". He added that he had late argued with Kuleba on matters concerning the “genocide committed on the Polish population by Ukrainian nationalists”.

When asked about this issue at a later press conference, Kosiniak-Kamish expressed hope that the fresh chief of Ukrainian diplomacy would leave the rhetoric presented by his predecessor on Polish-Ukrainian history. – The words of Minister Kuleba at Campus were unacceptable He stressed. As he said, past is not just for historians, but “for all of us” due to the fact that “it is part of our lives.”

The Minister besides estimated that “it is not right” that after Warsaw has done so much good in fresh years for Kiev, he “did not respect our sensitivity.”

According to the head of the MON, the case of Volyn is an open wound, which, until it is close to each other, will always be an obstacle to good relations between Poland and Ukraine. – I want to overcome this obstacle in this way: exhumation, commemoration and departure from the glorification of Ukrainian nationalists led by Bandera, who simply destroyed Poland said Kosiniak-Kamish.
