What the government will do on Tuesday: fresh changes and reforms

The government and the legislature discuss the changes concerning the reimbursement of medicines, the capital marketplace and excise duties on alcohol. The reimbursement improvement is intended to simplify procedures, improve the availability of therapy and reduce the waiting time for treatment. The stock exchange will become attractive by reducing the minimum marketplace share of shares. The higher excise work on alcohol, planned since 2027, is to support the National wellness Fund, with an additional impact of PLN 1.4 billion. Changes combine wellness and taxation policies, but the impact of reforms will depend on their implementation and the usage of additional funds in the wellness system.
