More and more execution in “Smiling Poland”

The church in Poland has been taking place for centuries, both as a community of believers and a temple. Although in fresh years we can talk about a serious crisis of the Church and even faith, for which the hierarchy is mostly responsible, but inactive in Poland Catholics are the majority. This does not mean that all Catholics with the same passion show the highest degree of religion and uncritically approach what is happening in the Church. It can be very different, but there are areas that stay taboo and this is the area where the "fighting democracy" entered.

Lawyers are right that churches, monasteries, or rectory are not extraterritorial areas, nor are they asylum-covered places. This means that the police and prosecutors are obliged to carry out a full scope of activities if there has been a violation of the law in the church or monastery. Besides, this is not just a theory, about libations, sexual crimes and even deaths in places of spiritual worship, but this year we have heard respective times. Social protests have not been reported in connection with these scandalous cases due to the fact that no Catholic will defend specified acts. Everything looked completely different erstwhile the prosecutors under Adam Bodnar sent assault troops to the Dominican monastery in Lublin.

There would most likely not be many present talking about this event if the services of the "fighting democracy" kept a minimum of common sense and decency, but it did not. Upon receiving information that he is hiding in the monastery Mr Marcin Romanowski top-level decision-makers have turned to possible success alternatively of focusing on the procedure and basic activities related to verification of sensational news. Thus there was a violation of taboo, or de facto assault on the sacral object, as it yet turned out for no reason.

Tomasz Terlikowski, known for his regular attacks on the Church and erstwhile ruling camp, like Monika Olejnik, powerfully criticized the police action. The overthrow of the regulation of law by Donald Tusk and Minister Adam Bodnar, almost from the first day, resembles a farce, but at the same time all fresh day brings clear examples of violations of the law, especially civilian rights. In this situation, it is hard to blame the Dominicans for expecting explanations:

The Polish Dominican state will make all effort to explain this painful and incomprehensible event to us on the way of justice said Fr Łukasz Wiśniewski.

More and more explanations are besides expected from Poles, including representatives of state institutions. A fewer days ago, the Ombudsman published a study in which he pointed to the inhumane treatment of Fr Michał Olszewski, previously 2 officials of the Ministry of Justice described their stay in custody dramatically. Moreover, in the case of Mr Romanowski, there has besides been a breach, and precisely an unlawful detention confirmed by a court ruling.

All these scandalous activities of services subordinate to Donald Tusk not only do not match “Smiling Poland”, but they break the basic rules of the democratic regulation of law. Poles love freedom and are very contrary, so east standards ‘coalition of 13 December’ they cease to be an excuse for “the settlement of thieves” and become a serious burden on the image and politics, which usually ends with a decline in support and consequently failure of power.
