Chrzanowski: Forgers of the past of Polish movie Chronicle

"Fact" (3-4 October 2026) posted an article under the false title "Polska Chronicle Propagandowa" and in the title he added "In the PRL everyone had to see this". The text is so simple and miserable, I shouldn't have taken care of it. “ The birth of a chronicle is Soviet, ” writes the writer. It began in early 1944 in Sielce on the Eye.”
The first edition of Polish movie Chronicle appeared on the screen on 1 December 1944 in Lublin. Throughout the time of the existence of the Polish People's Republic, viewers watched PKF voluntarily, no 1 drove them to cinema with a knut. In Poland, translated into “democratic” it was recognised that Polish movie Chronicle was “a tube of communist success.” From July 1, 1969 to December 13, 1981, I wrote this success on a movie tape, and I ask no forgiveness. I was happy to see fresh workplaces, hospitals, schools. I showed how miners, metallurgists, railway workers, workers of various professions in vacation homes run by their workplaces relax. I showed schools where doctors and nurses cared about the wellness of my students, and during my studies I utilized the infirmary for students. I enjoyed Polish tractors in the fields of Punjab and Ursus montownia in fresh Delhi. I showed Polish investments in Syria, Iraq and the USSR. PKF recorded the launch of the first ship built in the Polish shipyard on tape, during my time we showed the last red-neck cruise. Now different doctors of unnecessary sciences and any authors of master's thesis criticize for this Polish movie Chronicle.

It is unusual that they do not see the chronicle in which we showed the everyday life of Poles, we criticised bad phenomena and deficiencies. Polish movie Kornika defended Jack Karpinski, electronics increasing pigs. She criticized Diora plants for producing bubli. She showed poorness to agrarian school in the Limanov district. The critical themes in PKF led to the Prime Minister's rage Peter Jaroshevich. Eight 100 chronicles came up with my name. In six 100 editions of PKF we have included critical topics, themes showing hard life and shortcomings. We've done investigation with viewers twice. The Young Publishing Agency sent 3,000 unnamed questions to cinemas. More than half of them returned to the Agency. erstwhile asked if “Mr (i) likes PKF? 97 percent of viewers responded – yes. PKF treated viewers as partners, not a dark mass. erstwhile the inscriptions “Television lies” appeared on the walls of the shipyard and many Polish cities, Polish movie Chronicle was allowed into Lenin Shipyard in Gdańsk. In December 1970, PKF recorded events in Gdańsk and Szczecin on tape. In January 1971, we filmed and recorded shipbuilders at the K2 Division. Order forces have interrupted our work. We were locked in the yard's management building. After any time the shipbuilders appeared in the square in front of the directorate's building. “ Release the chronicle!” They set us free. I have received many state and social distinctions in my life: for merit for plants, voivodships, cities and towns. Drezdenko even granted me the title of honorary citizen. The most crucial award for me, writer of Polish movie Chronicle, was the release of the PKF squad by the Shipyards from the “order forces”.
Deprived of reason and professional ethics, liberal journalists effort at all costs and most likely for a advanced fee to present the PKF as a tube of communist propaganda. They will not even compose about the chronicle of the ‘STRAYK’ – edition 39B/40A/80. In order to watch it in front of Warsaw cinemas there were queues. 1 can besides think, by reading the elaborates of “free journalists” that we were PRL caresses. Not at all. The most dangerous critic of PKF was Prime Minister Piotr Jaroszewicz. The most ferocious Krzysztof Teodor Toeplitz. Here is simply a passage from his many texts: “I late watched respective PKF releases in a row. 1 of them was the issue of Women's Day. The first information of this release was that 200 skilled fibers from Żyrardów would shortly be out of work, due to the fact that the modern machines they operated lacked natural material...” The columnist criticized the following subjects, after which he stated: “...the only sensible reaction after seeing this Chronicle can be only complete drunkenness, regardless of the current price of alcohol, or killing anyone in the teeth...”
‘Fact’ printed the text with the letters ‘CP’, which is fundamentally anonymous. To me, anonymous is cowardice and deceit.
