HONG KONG- Cathay Pacific (CX) has resumed its nonstop flights between Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) and Brussels Airport (BRU), reconnecting Asia’s key aviation hub with the Belgian capital.
The airline now operates four weekly flights, restoring direct access to one of Europe’s major political and cultural centers.
This move boosts Cathay Pacific’s presence in Europe during the peak summer season, bringing its total to nearly 100 return flights per week between Hong Kong and key cities across the continent.

Cathay Pacific Resumes Brussels Flight
Cathay Pacific’s (CX) resumption of Brussels (BRU) flights marks a strategic addition to its European network, enhancing travel choices for both business and leisure travellers.
Operated by the fuel-efficient Airbus A350-900, the Hong Kong to Brussels route offers top-tier comfort in all cabins, including fully flat beds in Business Class and high-speed in-flight Wi-Fi.
The flight schedule features late-night departures from Hong Kong and early-afternoon returns from Brussels, optimized for convenient onward connections.
CX291 | HKG → BRU | 23:50 | 07:20 (+1 day) | Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday |
CX294 | BRU → HKG | 13:25 | 06:55 (+1 day) | Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday |
CX291 departs HKG at 23:50 and arrives in BRU at 07:20 the next day, operating on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
The return flight, CX294, departs BRU at 13:25 and arrives in HKG at 06:55 the following day, flying on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
