On Monday evening, Okopowa Street in Warsaw became a scene of violent violence. Right next to 1 of the stores in Warsaw Wola, a 34-year-old Ukrainian citizen threw himself at 2 previously unknown people.
First he hit a female standing at the store, and then he attacked a man, hitting him with a sharp instrument in the abdomen area. The victims didn't know who did it. All indications indicate that the assault was entirely accidental, and her background may have been a strong alcohol intoxication of the attacker.

By decision of the court, a man was temporarily arrested for a period of 3 months. The case is developmental. The EPPO shall not exclude that, depending on further findings, the legal qualification of acts may be changed. Although the motives of the attacker are not entirely clear, expert psychiatrists were included in the case to measure his sanity at the time of the act. It's a regular procedure in situations where the unsub acts impulsively and under the influence of psychoactive substances. If it turns out that the man was insane, he could be subjected to forced psychiatric treatment alternatively of prison. However, if his intellectual wellness does not rise objections, he will respond like any another citizen – according to the Polish penal code.
