British Airways’ Morocco Portfolio
British Airways will begin flights to Rabat (RBA) from 5 November 2025, making it the third Moroccan destination on the carrier’s network, alongside Marrakech and Agadir.
Operated by BA Euroflyer, the service will run twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Sundays, using an Airbus A320.
Morocco has experienced a significant tourism surge, with the Ministry of Tourism reporting a 68% increase in visitors compared to 2019.
Rabat, the nation’s capital, offers a compelling mix of modern city life and rich heritage, featuring historic landmarks, traditional souks, and coastal charm.
The flight launch enhances travel flexibility for UK passengers seeking year-round warmth and cultural escapes. Fares start from £70 each way, including taxes and fees.

BA Direct Access to Southern Austria
Flights between London Gatwick (LGW) and Graz (GRZ) will commence on 21 November 2025, running three times weekly – Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, using the Airbus A320. This is the only direct link between London and Graz currently available.
Graz becomes British Airways’ fourth Austrian destination, joining Vienna, Salzburg, and Innsbruck. The city is popular for its UNESCO-listed old town, festive Christmas markets, and summer outdoor activities, making it a year-round option for holidaymakers.
This launch follows Austria’s renewed cultural prominence, including its Eurovision victory, expected to increase international interest in the country. One-way fares to Graz start at £60.

Madrid Connectivity Boosted
BA Cityflyer will operate 11 weekly services from London City Airport (LCY) to Madrid (MAD) starting 1 December 2025.
These flights are in addition to British Airways’ existing Madrid services from London Heathrow, bringing the total to 44 weekly flights between the UK and the Spanish capital.
Timings are optimised for business and leisure travelers, as well as those making onward connections in Madrid, particularly to South American cities such as Bogotá, Montevideo, and Lima.
The LCY–MAD route offers the convenience of flying from London’s most centrally located airport with competitive fares starting at £78 each way.

Enhanced Choice
With the new routes, British Airways continues to expand access to culturally rich and commercially important destinations. These services aim to meet growing customer demand for diverse travel options, particularly from London’s secondary airports.
Passengers benefit from competitive pricing, improved lounge facilities, and well-timed schedules suited to short breaks, business trips, and connecting itineraries.
