Soon before silence, I will execute my pre-election manifesto. Of course, without change, the left, “my” candidate will be Jacek Dehnel – but I respect another elections, nevertheless left or at least opposition ones.
Why Dehnel, I've already explained this on Facebook, but my blog and Facebook collections are a small disconnected, so I'll repeat here. I just think Culture is important.
Culture in our politics is usually treated stepmotherly. The minister is individual who dreamed of another resort, but lacked the strength to beat – and he gets this as a consolation prize.
The closest thing to my heart is simply a pop culture that can theoretically manage without government support. While taking care of it for many years professionally, I know – and I could compose a book about it! – that in practice it cannot make without a higher culture.
In many examples (too apparent to be mentioned here now) 1 can show how opera inspired rock, comic painting, and avant-garde synthpop. That is why I believe that the state should support a higher culture, even if I do not myself.
To support it, you gotta realize it. In our policy (and this is not only about the Law and Justice) we frequently dominate the attitude of "supporting culture, after all, we have built a building".
Maybe in sports, it's so simple that you just gotta build a stadium, but not in culture. This is why for 8 years PiS was incapable to make a "his" film, nor did he experience "his" theatrical performances, "his" novels, "his" exhibitions.
They could only quit millions for losers. Even if we print works collected by Bronisław Wildstein on chalk paper, readers will be lining up for the autograph to Olga Tokarczuk anyway.
Jacek Dehnel is simply a cultural man in all inch (I would say, in all Planck unit). How many Members will be present in the future Sejm, of which this can be said? You can most likely number them all on your fingers, and it's most likely 1 hand.
Someone will say, "We have more pressing concerns now than pensioners for sculptors." I will say that since 1989 I have heard that there are matters more urgent than those I consider important. And I don't feel like waiting any longer.
However, above all, I call for a vote on the opposition. There are many reasons, I'll briefly remind you of the most important.
Write dignitaries flirt with the thought of Polexit all the time. If they make a government with the Confederacy, it won't be just the penetration.
Brexit was a disaster for the rich UK, it will be even bigger for Poland. Of course, they'll feed themselves due to the fact that any bishop will always sale them a lot for cheapness. But all of us (me and you, dear reader) will become very poor.
History besides tells us that lonely Poland has no chance of surviving. Not here on the map. Polyxit is automatically Rassijawd.
As I have pointed out many times, I appreciate the social programs of PiSu, but I think that erstwhile they give money with 1 hand, they draw more. For example, PiS ruined wellness care.
Even Kaczyński's top supporter will not say that a visit to a specialist is little than 8 years ago! I mean, in practice, the pensioner's going to spend the 14th pension on a private doctor right now, due to the fact that a visit to the NFZ will be 2035.
Another example: ruining education. Even Kaczyński's top supporter won't say that public schools work better present than they did 8 years ago! So tutoring, tuition, driving to another district, that's 8 100 plus, ho ho ho what a large plus!
Another example: the demolition of state-owned companies. I think even the biggest supporter of the PiS has already seen the note “WELCOMING THE DISTRIBUTOR AWARIA” on Orlen?
Another example: the demolition of courts. Even Kaczyński's top supporter won't say they work better than they did 8 years ago. After all, this influences, for example, the chance of pulling a check-in from the employer.
I can agree that the Platform was not peculiarly good at developing public services either. But that's why I'm voting for the Left. specified a coalition at least gives hope for their development, and the PiS-Confederation coalition none. In fact, the Confederacy openly announces the next scroll.
In the individual dimension of my life, most likely small will change with these choices. Whoever wins, I'll proceed to work as a teacher, and I'll proceed to compose books and columnaries.
I just want to live in a strong and prosperous country that counts in the European Union and in NATO. The PiS and the Conference lead us to the Russian model, where a tiny group of oligarchs are going to be rich, and they're coming together with the government. And the remainder will be “pour for a bowl of rice” according to Morawiecki Doctrine.
