FUJAIRAH, UAE– Aviation influencer Sam Chui, one of the world’s most prominent aviation content creators, celebrated his wedding in a uniquely aviation-themed style.
On July 12, 2025, Chui and his wife Fiona hosted a “Sky Wedding” aboard a chartered Boeing 747-400 at Fujairah International Airport (FJR), flying a round-trip journey over the Gulf of Oman, OMAAT flagged.

The couple’s celebration began on the ground at Fujairah International Airport (FJR), where guests boarded a 24-year-old Boeing 747-400 operated by Moldovan airline Terra Avia.
The aircraft, registered ER-BOS, has a colorful history, previously flying for Singapore Airlines (SQ), Transaero (UN), and Garuda Indonesia (GA) before joining Terra Avia’s fleet.
The 95-minute private flight departed at 6:30 PM local time and traced a route over the Gulf of Oman before returning to Fujairah by 8:04 PM. The event was part of a broader celebration marking the couple’s recent wedding, described by Chui as “the best day of our lives.”

Sam Chui shared highlights from the event on Instagram, capturing the festive atmosphere aboard the jumbo jet, which had been temporarily transformed into a flying wedding venue.

The Boeing 747-400 used for the celebration, ER-BOS, is configured in a high-density layout with 476 total seats, comprising 26 business class and 450 economy class seats.
It is one of several aircraft Terra Avia uses primarily for Hajj charters, flying routes between Nigeria and Jeddah (JED). When not in use, the aircraft is stationed in Fujairah (FJR).
This specific 747 has drawn attention in aviation circles due to its longevity and adaptability, having served both full-service and charter roles over its operational life.
