Journalists and scientists made an appeal to Polish citizens, calling for primaries to be held for president of Free Poland. Below is the full content of this call.
"In the face of rapidly advancing political, civilizational, economical and military threats, it is peculiarly crucial for Poles to elect a fresh president of the Republic wisely in 2025. Independent, modern, strong, faithful Decalogue.
The candidates of many committees referring to these values will have a close zero chance of defeating competition in the first circular of elections, but the dispersal of the votes professing these values of electorate may not scope the second circular at all. Therefore, we believe that the independency side should put forward a joint candidate.
Political and media mechanisms are increasingly limiting the influence of voters on decisions taken on their behalf. This trend must be reversed. We think that Poles wishing Poland independency want to participate in the selection not only emotional and formal, but besides substantive. They don't just want to vote to confirm the choice made by a narrow body, they want to ask, evaluate, compare. Consciously place your hope.
We want the Polish president in all action to defender the well-being of the Republic and its citizens. He knew that the interest or will of any another country, nation, organization or entity could not stand before the interests of Poland and Poles.
We want the Polish president, by the power of his office, to always argue attempts to quit fragments of Polish sovereignty, to give power over Polish security, defence, energy security, economy, environmental protection, geology, social policy, agriculture, health, education, culture.
It is only in the Polish interest to cooperate voluntarily within organizations that respect the sovereignty of nations and states. We reject the thought and practice of centralization, above state power and the effort to make an artificial European "nation". The president of the Republic can only be 1 for whom membership of an global organization is not a dogma, due to the fact that the highest command for him is representing the Polish national interest.
We appeal to all who think likewise to act together.
The primary should take place in the autumn of this year, the goal will be to choice a candidate who understands the function of the President, to win elections for the year, to become president of the Republic of Poland for the years 2025-2030 and to complete this mission in accordance with the above ideas.
We invitation all those who realize that the only chance of the Independent Poland is to unite efforts, that the dissipation of the number of candidates of the independency side can lead to a defeat of a candidate who does not represent and will not implement the above mentioned assumptions.
We invitation you to support and participate in the thought of the primaries, all of whom are close to the ideas mentioned above. Even if the primacy is not formally binding, it will be a powerful advice of the conscious values and interests of part of the Nation."
