Another scandal. Media this time

Necessary in specified cases, the Polish-speaking Onet revealed another scandal of the Kaczystist regime.

OThis is due to a “journalary inquiry” by a man Jack Harlukovich It was revealed that from 3 January 2018 to 31 December 2023 (total of 2.188 days) Television Republic received from Polish National FoundationVertigo amount 8.758.590.15 zł.

This amount, which makes any people dizzy (as at 31 December 2023, was equivalent to 2433 minimum salaries), could, after all, power public broadcasters, or at least TVN.

According to the audit authors of the Foundation:

It should be added that since November 2021 there has already been an English-speaking, state-owned TVP World. Therefore, there was no peculiar request to finance TVR, which was fundamentally a competition for this state-owned station. Since then The action of the PFN should be regarded as unjustified financing of the “message” content on private television, thus strengthening the competitive strength of the State tv programme with the usage of the PFN funds. The action was so contrary to the public interest and, in this context, contrary to the mission of the PFN.

Does this mean that in a minute the Bodnarovists will enter the action and, as before Father Olszewski, editor Sakiewicz will go to jail????

By the way, a couple of PFN officials?

Although the authors of the audit admit that these nearly 9 million included 20 licence agreements for the "Poland Daily" broadcast, the movie "I Look At You Warsaw", aired on the air of the Republic on August 15, 2018, as well as "agreements on cooperation in the field of, among others, tv production, advertising spots, etc.", but that is contrary to public interest. After all, the movie about Warsaw might as well have been created somewhere on Wiertnicza, while Michnik or at least Cuchnowski could have been the author of the script. ;)

WThe mentioned njus Onetu, duplicated by the full regime, willfully order them to go back in time.

Here in the 7th Parliament the 7th word was created Parliamentary Freedom of Word Defence Team (14.03 2012). She created the opposition at the time, and so Members and PiS Senators with a tiny share of independent MPs.

As a consequence of the Team's work, the funds that the Tuska government has allocated to support alleged independent media in the electoral years (2010 – accelerated presidential, 2011 – parliamentary).

Please note the abrupt increase in TVN funding. A year after the parliamentary election, he received more money than state television. This looks like... a fee for services previously provided.

It is shocking to see a summary of the costs spent for the media (total) by the Ministry of National Education. The election years are besides high.

AWe should be curious in television. Well, the large deal is (for the time being, potentially) the transmission of the tv Republic little than PLN 9 million in 6 years.

Meanwhile, in 2011 and 2012, the Tuska government transferred a full of PLN 11.834.410 to the TVN Group. Let's convert this according to the minimum wage at 31 December 2012. That's 7890 minimum wage!

Using specified a conversion, it is clear that only in 2 years did the Tusk government “power” TVN more than 3 times more than the right-wing government of the Republic over the years 6.

And that's undisputed.

In order to complete the image of what the "government-media umbrella" looked like during the erstwhile Tusk regime, look at the table showing the percent distribution of money received for publishing announcements or government messages by journalists in Poland.

Please note that since 9 September 2011, a national diary has been published “Newspaper Poland DailyIt’s okay. ” However, it was not included in the switchboard. Only 0.1% of the resources went to "Our Journal"which clearly seems to make fun of quite a few society.

Pabout the 2015 election, media eldorado, allowing to neglect to account for the reader/viewer, due to the fact that publishers made mainly money from alliance with power, partially collapsed.

And that's why Poland started to be depressed in alleged press freedom rankings.

You can only guess what it looks like today. The very bad takeover of public media and then putting them in a state of alleged liquidation led to the failure of any billion of advertising. However, the money did not disappear, but it made the remaining broadcasters (generally outside the TRWAM and the Republic of course).

And there was a miracle. Poland begins to go up in free rankings...

But that's another story.
