Confederate politicians on 9 September called for increased control of people coming to Poland. The day before 11 am, the protection of MSPO in Kielce stopped a 43-year-old Ukrainian citizen with respective rounds of ammunition. No weapons found. The case shows that the safety of Poles requires efficient procedures, but does not let to attribute to the detained unproven intentions.
Ammunition stopped at the entrance to the fair
The event occurred on 8 September at 1 of the entrances to the XXXIV global Defence manufacture Salon in Kielce. safety personnel turned their attention to the man during the inspection and called the police. A spokesperson for the Świętokrzyskie police Damian Janus reported that respective ammunition pieces were found at the 43-year-old Ukrainian citizen. According to information cited by the media, the man came to Poland the day before and worked as a driver of 2 Ukrainian entrepreneurs participating in the fair. The police searched the car they were traveling. No weapons, extra ammunition or another items requiring authorization were found. The detainee refused to explain.
These are the facts. There's no reason to believe he was preparing an attack or intending to usage ammunition against anyone. The investigation is only to explain where he got it and why he tried to enter the organization with her. Confederation: inspections must be prepared now
Day after the incidental Confederate associate Krzysztof Mulawa called on the authorities to establish rigorous control procedures people coming to Poland. Tough State Without Collective Responsibility
Poland borders the country conducting the defence war against Russia. On both sides of the border there is simply a legal movement of workers, families and entrepreneurs. The conclusion cannot be collective suspicion of Ukrainians. The proposal is to guarantee consistent control of any real threat and a fast consequence to a peculiar individual violating the law. This is the mature national policy: it protects its own citizens, respects the dignity of the foreigner and does not quit the sovereign right to decide who enters the Republic and under what conditions.
The safety of Poles and trust in the state are at stake. The Confederation rightly demands action in advance, but the procedures must be precise, proportionate and based on an individual assessment. Poland needs a hard border, efficient services and clear rules. No hysteria. No naivety.
