On Sunday, April 8, the city of Gdańsk again gave its trust to Alexander Dulkiewicz, choosing her as president. The results of the first circular of elections confirmed the dominance of the candidate, who won an awesome 62.3% vote. The second place was taken by Tomasz Rakowski, gaining 12.2% of support.

The election results confirmed the strong position of Aleksandra Dulkiewicz in the hearts of the people of Gdańsk. Her triumph is the consequence of both her work for the city and her plans for another term.

Aleksandra Dulkiewicz: The Way to Success

Aleksandra Dulkiewicz is simply a figure well known in the Gdańsk political community. She graduated from the University of Gdańsk and has been active in public life for years. Her political career began with obtaining the mandate of councilwoman Gdańsk from the Citizens' Platform list in 2010 and then in 2014.

However, 2019 was a turning point in her career when, after the tragic death of president Pawel Adamowicz, Aleksandra Dulkiewicz assumed the duties of president Gdańsk. Her determination and ability to manage the city in hard times gained designation of the inhabitants.

In 2020, Dulkiewicz decided to run for president of Gdańsk in the next election, applying for re-election. Her run was based on achievements to date, the imagination of the city's improvement and values that have always been crucial to her.

Coalition for Gdańsk: Support and strategy

In this year's election, Aleksandra Dulkiewicz competed with support of the Civic Coalition and the Association of All for Gdańsk. This broad spectrum of support confirmed assurance in her individual and her programme.

Her run focused on concrete actions aimed at further developing Gdańsk as a dynamic, modern city, but besides on building civilian society and dialog with residents. Her experience in city management and openness to people's needs were crucial in attracting voters.

According to polling data, the voter turnout was 52.3%, indicating the engagement of residents in public life of cities. Strong support for Aleksandra Dulkiewicz points to the continuation of trust in her current policy and hope to proceed the improvement of the city.

Her election as president of Gdańsk for the next word poses fresh challenges to her, but besides gives her the chance to proceed the activities started. This requires her to proceed working for the people, to make the city and to build a community based on cooperation and solidarity.

Aleksandra Dulkiewicz so remains not only the president of Gdańsk, but besides a symbol of hope and trust for all who believe in the affirmative improvement of their city. Its next word will be a time of challenges, but besides opportunities which together with the inhabitants of the city will have a chance to exploit.
