The comparatively short exposition of Prime Minister Morawiecki may have caused surprise among the listeners. Proud, solidarity, and moments even left (!) Poland's imagination would most likely resonate among the opposition electorate if it were not presented after 8 years of organization rule, which will be remembered mainly for ruining democratic structures and sending police to women protesting on the streets.
Even feminist themes broke in in the exposé. The slogans about closing the pay gap or systemic discrimination in the workplace passed through the Prime Minister's mouth amazingly smoothly, given that it was in his government that 2 years ago there were more Michaels than women.
It is good that the Prime Minister yet realized that "the place of the female is and should be where she will choose it herself." I want he could tell his friends. For example, Przemysław Czarnek, whose words about "tuning girls to the virtues of the women," commented the full of Poland. Or the head of his party, Jarosław Kaczyński, who disliked women to become pregnant explained that “they put in their necks.”
Prime Minister Morawiecki besides said in his expose: “We besides request to ask what would have happened to our demography if it had not been for our large social policy? We would have a demographic apocalypse." Well, I don't know what else to call what we're dealing with now, if not a demographic apocalypse. In 2022 305 1000 children were born in Poland – 27 1000 little than a year earlier and least since the end of planet War II.
According to preliminary estimates, less children were born in 2022 than in 2021 – 305 1000 (27 1000 y/y), besides less people died – 448,000 (-72,000 y/y)https://t.co/BnqkAg9Y8X#GUS#Statisticspic.twitter.com/wxyT4edwKX

So I would like to ask – Prime Minister, what would happen to our demography if women in Poland were not afraid to be born? If they were not afraid that they could die in the hospital, like Isabella of Pszczyna or Agnieszka of Czestochowa? What would be the case with our demography if young parents knew that if they were born a kid with disabilities, they would receive your support for a decent life? What would happen to our demography if couples struggling with fertility problems had access to an in vitro procedure, which, as it has late turned out, you support? What would be the case with our demography if the Law and Justice Government took care of the basic needs mentioned by the Polish people as the key factors affecting fertility – that is, unstable employment and mediocre housing conditions?
The second issue even appeared – in the "feminist" passage of the expose, the Prime Minister noted that the decision to start a household was influenced by the question of whether the young couple had a place to live, which is why the Law and Justice Office in fresh years "started putting the most dwellings into usage in respective decades". Morawiecki, however, forgot to add that most young people cannot afford these apartments. In the ranking of Millenials' dreams and representatives of generation Z, which the financial situation does not allow, having an flat is second. The 2% loan, which the outgoing Prime Minister besides mentioned, will not change this situation.
Bowing to women in Morawiecki's exposé shows that the PiS is aware of the causes of its failure – The biggest collapse of the right in the polls followed the judgement of the Constitutional Court in 2020 – and wants to make up for losses in this demographic. As they say, a wise Pole after harm. The results of the vote of assurance for the government will surely not change. Next chance, most likely in about 4 years.
