For respective days now, the network has been following the publication of a list of projects, implemented with KPO's money in the Hotels, Restaurants and Catering (HoReCa). There were besides purchases of yachts or "diversification", consisting of organizing a club for sexual deviants and giving usury moments. Defenders of the Tusk government claimed that only PLN 1.2 billion is affected by the scandal, or about 0.5% of funds from the KPO. Now it turns out Also in another spending departments, pathology has occurred. The focus was on culture, among others.
A fewer days ago, there was a KPO scandal about grants for the HoReCa industry. On the government website there is an interactive map that reveals precisely what money was spent on from the EU program. It turns out that any companies have received grants for investments specified as yachts, furniture, saunas, solariums, virtual shooting ranges or bridge games. On Friday, information triggered a political storm. The Regional Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw announced that, in connection with media reports, it had started its own investigations into possible irregularities in the allocation of these funds.
As it turned out, curiosal projects received backing besides in another departments. The network published a list of projects which received non-refundable grants from KPO as part of the first circular of recruitment from Culture. Michał Czarnik, Vice president of the “TakdlaCPK” Association, published on platform X a list of projects that obtained money. As he pointed out, among them were "really interesting initiatives", in the unrelenting jachrom from the HoReCa department. Among them we can mention:
- Acquire digital competences for the improvement of professional actor and theatre director,
- Development of acting, vocal and pedagogical skills in singing learning to find the best and safest online singing learning methods,
- Expanding competences in the context of the implementation of the latest technologies in artistic and organisational improvement – phase I,
- Launch of vocational training in coordination, consultation and choreography of intimate scenes in theatre and film, and sharing acquired expertise with Polish actors and creators,
- Investing in professional and individual improvement in order to prepare for survey abroad (i.e. we are to spend respective tens of thousands of PLN from the debt so that individual leaves the country).

The issue of obtaining a debt from the KPO was the flagship electoral slogan of the Civic Coalition before the 2023 elections. That's how the PiS was defeated. The naive supporters of Tusk were promised gold mountains and a giant kick forward for the Polish economy. Ultimately, it turned out that only household members and relatives of Platforma politicians were rich for the money borrowed. No reasonable individual has any illusions whether specified money (typical grants from HoReCa are approx. PLN 0.5 million!) could receive average Poles.
