– I think Adam Glapiński should stand before the Court of State and explain his strong suspicion that he was breaking the Constitution, financing the budget deficit during the covid period from the issue of money and the acquisition of Treasury bonds by the NBP. Which is contrary to the Constitution. It is contrary to the rule of central bank separation from the state budget.
On the another hand, the second level is that we have a Constitutional Court ruling, which says that to put the president of the NBP before the Court of State, it takes a majority of 3/5. It seems that the Platform intends to make this judgement of the Constitutional Court – issued in a composition without alleged double judges – simply completely ignore. And that is the deepening of legal chaos.
When we yet get this proposal – due to the fact that for now we are only working on what is going on on the Internet, what is appearing on Twitter – we will be analyzing what to do about it. But, If there were to be support for a proposal which is contrary to the Constitution, with the current case law of the Constitutional Court, I would not want to rise my hand for it.
