On Tuesday 23 July, 6 p.m., protests at the Sejm are announced. It's a reaction to last week's rejection of the draft decriminalisation of abortion aid. There were 218 Members, for 215, with 2 abstentions.

"After weeks of work and amendments which painfully mutilated the bill, but were created under the PSL, the Sejm unfortunately did not adopt the law decriminating abortion" wrote the organizers of Tuesday's protest and added: "Resistent to technological knowledge, immune to legal and substantive arguments MPs and MPs of the PSL push us stubbornly beyond the system, condemning the abortionist organization and advocating that the parent should have a conviction for buying pills for her daughter. To have the partner who paid for the pills handcuffed and dragged to court. These things are happening all the time, and PSL Members and Members have acknowledged by this vote that this is OK and should inactive be so. And Roman Gierty escaped to the toilet. As for us, he can stay there forever.”

The women's strike reminds us that "90 percent of the coalition's voters and voters on 15 October are in favour of decriminating abortion. 78% of the election and voters of the PSL want not only decryminalization, but besides legalization of abortion. Despite this, MPs and MPs (except for 4 exceptions) voted, together with the PiS and the Confederacy, against the draft decriminalisation of abortion – i.e. against the expectations of their own electorate. This can't happen again – Tuesday we will remind them!"

At the same time, Marta Lempart of the Women's Strike says: "This vote was a confirmation that Donald Tusk was not the prime minister in Poland, but Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish was the deputy prime minister of Roman Gierty. I don't think that's why people went to vote on October 15. These politicians have done everything to guarantee that the task behind which 90 percent of coalition voters are behind 15 October does not pass.”

Tuesday protest under the parliament organise: National Women's Strike, Women on the Web – abortion in Polish, Federa Foundation for Women and household Planning, Action Democracy, Legal Abortion, Abortion Dream squad and Warsaw Women's Strike.
