The hero “elite” needed from now on. "Gazeta Wyborcza" anoints...gen. Jaruzelski

Thesis put on PCh24.pl a fewer months ago by Prof. Tomasz Panfil, that the place of Soldiers cursed in historical politics of the fresh power will be taken by Comrade Jaruzelski, present it turns out to be a fact! All this thanks to “Gazeta Wyborcza”, who decided to re-read the history, function and merit of the general in creating “free Poland”. By the way, it got to the bad Catholics and even worse IPN. Well, what else could 1 anticipate from the “Choice”?

What a hero we had! – many witnesses of martial law or bloody pacification will be surprised, reading the text “This was a beautiful good general. Why we forgot about Jaruzelski by Andrzej Romanowski, published in “Free Saturday” “Gazeta Wyborcza”. – He may have told me to beat him, but he loved this nation, this country. – he will add another, mentioning painful but sweet string of rubber dick on his back. – Yeah, at least he beat up his own, not a stranger. Strangers would beat harder. possibly even the victims would be more. And Poland wouldn't be – he will add another assurance that in Poland (if any), poorness would be greater without the general.

The laurel that Jaruzelski’s “GW” painted surely amazes and outrages the environment that experienced in the general’s “good” practice. It is undoubtedly an effort to rewrite history, or at least to change its accents, so that the protagonist of the communicative about Poland of that time is the general – the leader – as it turns out – bold, sharp, penetrating, but besides kind...

It is not surprising, then, that a scratch had to be dealt with on the conscience of the descendant of the household of the coat of arms of Blindowron, and this was undoubtedly the martial law (for which Jaruzelski “sorryed and took responsibility). The author of the peanu, in honor of the general, is eagerly dropping off a communicative in which Jaruzelski claimed that without this act of rape on Polish society, there would be no circular Table. And as we know, this event gave us “freedom”, which, of course, later was cared for not by anyone else, as General Jaruzelski himself, as the light president of Poland.

She had to go after it, broken long ago – but so what – a communicative about the threat of intervention of troops from the east. It is known that the general did not want, but had to choose the lesser evil and play Poland's affairs on his own alternatively than imposed rules.

It is simply a pity that the author has so minimally approached the subject of victims of martial law, recognising from the top that if the communicative had happened differently it could have been much worse. “Because the worst that could have happened to us in 1981 was the release of the Polish case from Polish hands,” we read.

I wonder what will happen to those who have been roughed up, beaten up, arrested by popular power and eliminated from the labour market? What would families with no means of surviving say? What does it say about the murdered under “Uncle” – Józef Czekalski, Krzysztof Giza, Joachim Gnida, Ryszard Gzik, Bogusław Kopczak, Andrzej Pełka, Jan Stawisiński, Zbigniew Wilk, Zenon Zając?

This is most likely the “most of the society” that “did not understand. And in a large part of it does not realize the general to this day?

Ah, the mediocre Jaruzelski. A tragic hero of his time. present underestimated by so many... What about him? "Students of the Maryan Fathers' mediate School, Catholic and Boy Scout, culturing the legend of the Lviv Eagles. And the 18-year-old: an exile and a sybirak’...

And the president! Yet, “These 17 months of presidency were the crown of Jaruzelski’s life. Yet, 24 years later, she was filled with rampant prosecutions and lawsuits. These years will forever stay a Polish disgrace, as the evidence of Polish barbarism will stay the Lutheran-decommunist-ipeenian practices, as well as the usual hooliganic murmur, which was not even reversed at the General's funeral" - writes “GW”.

He went on to say: “However, these actions of Polish Catholics one more time revealed the features of Jaruzelski, which had already shown his presidency. But the greater his honor, dignity and class, the greater his hatred. How many times did he want to be demoted to the rank of a private? Fortunately, they've gone back from it. And honor Solidarity Only a fistful of people were saved, among them the erstwhile prisoner Jaruzelski, Adam Michnik.”

After all, Jaruzelski is simply a general who pulled freedom for us in 1989. Joanna Szczepkowska has said years ago a expression that has already become permanent in Polish history: "Please, on 4 June 1989 communism ended in Poland". Whether present – reading “GW” – you can already yet consider that it was the first, the founder fake news? Or will we necessarily gotta submit (with a grin of course) to the policies of new, underestimated and misunderstood "heroes"?

Finally, prof. Tomasz Panfil's thesis. Asked by PCh24.pl (publication dated 1 March 2024) about what character will be the determinant of the fresh historical policy of Donald Tusk's government, by the word of who will now be the "national hero" the prof. replied without thinking: Wojciech Jaruzelski.

Inquired about the details of this thesis, he explained: “Because the full approach to the past of the fresh ruling strategy can be portrayed by a general’s companion. Jaruzelski, as most most likely remember, said: – If we consider Kukliński a hero, that means we're all traitors. It’s okay. ”
