As reported by police, a fewer days ago, a violent attack on a 24-year-old citizen of Moldova occurred at a working hotel in Lubin. The female was severely beaten and raped by 2 of her countrymen. Lubinese police rapidly detained suspects, and the court decided to temporarily arrest them.
The incidental occurred on July 8th. 3 Moldovans, a female of 24, and 2 men — 25 - year - old Daniel R. and 33 - year - old Arthur B. — they stayed at a working hotel, awaiting employment. According to investigators, on that day, all 3 of them consumed a large amount of alcohol.
— At 1 point, there was an argument between the 2 men beating up a 24-year-old, and then 1 of them, 33-year-old Artur B., raped a woman, says Liliana Łukasiewicz, a press spokesperson for the Legnica prosecutor.
Although only 1 of the men committed sexual acts, rape charges with peculiar cruelty were heard by both of them.
— Just due to the fact that the another offender did not participate in the sexual activity alone does not mean that the individual who acted together with him and led to the act cannot be held liable for this —
explains Łukasiewicz.
In addition, men were accused of destroying property — specifically destroying the hotel area where the crime occurred. The losses were estimated at PLN 2.5 thousand. Both perpetrators were detained shortly after the incident. Police rapidly determined their whereabouts. They went to police custody and were then brought to the D.A. where they heard the charges. Service findings indicate both detainees have a criminal record. 25-year-old Daniel R. served 8 years in Moldova in prison for murder. 33-year-old Arthur B. was besides previously punished.
— Due to erstwhile convictions, both suspects will be liable for crimes under the conditions of recidivism, notes the prosecution.
The court, at the request of the prosecutor, applied temporary detention to both men. The 24-year-old victim was treated with medical and intellectual assistance. The investigation is conducted by the territory Attorney's Office in Lubin. The police do not regulation out any further procedural actions.
