We bow to all labour people. This is your day and ours.
May 1st is simply a day erstwhile we remember that workers' rights are not given erstwhile and for all – they have been won by generations of workers and require constant defence. Today, as part of the ruling coalition, we show that the state can stand on the side of workers, not just large corporations. We reconstruct respect for work, strengthen social dialog and rebuild institutions that are to defend the weakest.
Left He consistently fulfills his obligations – from free Christmas Eve, by adding his work placement from civilian law contracts, to strengthening the State Labour Inspection. We are working on solutions that improve the quality of life of millions of Polish women and Poles: we support families, fight the poorness of the workers, and we focus on stable, decent employment.
Labor Day is not only an chance to celebrate, but besides to look to the future. We want Poland, where work gives security, not uncertainty – Poland is socially just, solidarity and modern. And we know that this change can be made here and now.
This year, calmer – in the shadow of the tragic death of our friend, Łukasz Litewka. With due respect and memory.
On the occasion of the labour Day – as a Left, we placed flowers on the Warsaw Citadel, Grzybowski Square and at the Ignacy Daszyński Memorial.
